Professional Training During Your Dog’s Day

Want professional help accelerating your dog’s training between lessons?

Our Day Training Program allows your dog to spend the day with an experienced trainer, learning real-life skills in a structured, low-stress environment. Unlike daycare, day training focuses on behavior, manners, confidence building, and practical life skills that carry over into your home.

With only three dogs accepted per day, each dog receives individualized attention, training, enrichment, and carefully managed social experiences.

How Day Training Works:

Drop your dog off in the morning and we’ll handle the training.

Throughout the day, your dog will participate in personalized training sessions, enrichment activities, real-world outings, and structured rest periods designed to support learning and retention.

At pickup, you’ll receive:

  • A progress report
  • Training notes
  • Homework and practice recommendations
  • Updates on skills worked throughout the day

Our goal is not simply to exercise your dog—it's to help build lasting skills and better habits.

Skills We Can Work On

Every dog receives a customized training plan based on your goals.
Common areas of focus include:
  • Sit, Down, Stay, and Wait
  • Leash Walking Skills
  • Recall (Coming When Called)
  • Place Training
  • Greeting Without Jumping
  • Mouthiness and Impulse Control
  • Relaxation Around Excitement
  • Body Handling and Grooming Prep
  • Crate Training and Potty Training
  • Muzzle Conditioning
  • Confidence Building
  • Car Anxiety
  • Exposure to New Environments, Sounds, and Surfaces
  • Separation-Related Concerns
  • Tether Training
  • And more

Is Day Training Right for Your Dog?

Day Training is ideal for:
  • Busy families who need extra training support
  • Puppies learning foundational skills
  • Adolescent dogs who need structure and consistency
  • Owners looking to jump-start training progress
  • Dogs who benefit from enrichment and guided learning experiences

While social play opportunities may be included when appropriate, Day Training is not a daycare program. The primary focus is education, skill building, and behavior development.

At this time, we cannot accept dogs with aggression toward people or other dogs into the Day Training Program.

Personalized Attention in a Low-Stress Environment

Dogs are housed individually, receive one-on-one training throughout the day, and participate in carefully planned outings and enrichment activities. Small group sizes allow us to maintain a calm learning environment while providing each dog with the attention they deserve.

Current and past No Monkey Business Dog Training clients receive scheduling priority. New clients may be accepted after an evaluation to ensure the program is a good fit.
